I became a fan through idol, I was 10 & I didn't know anything about her at all, just that she was very special! I continued to watch because of her. Then after about a month I asked my mom about her, she told me that she was a singer & a dancer, & I thought that was so cool. I ordered her Forever Your Girl CD from my library a few days after that and just after I had ordered FYG, I researched her on wikipedia & found out alot about her! I also couldn't beileve she was in her 40's. Me & my friend both thought she was like...24, or somthing!! When I got the CD, I loved it, I had never really heard music like it b4, I was used to music like: coldplay, Jack Johnson, Jewel (My mom) and: Stevie Ray Vougn, Buddy Guy, Elton John (My dad.) So when I heard Paula's music, it was different...my favorite track was Forever Your Girl, I loved them all, so diff than what I was used to, so mutch more what I rlly loved, so mutch better!! As time went on, I found out more & more about Paula Abdul, & I was so beyond amazed, she loves animals, fashion, is very sweet kind, lovable, talented & beautiful. I couldn't beileve I picked sutch an amazing role model! I've been a fan for 2 years, now & love her more & more every day. I am sooo glad she is FINALLY pain free, that makes me soo happy. You can really tell, that she is pain free, the past 3 nights on idol, shes just been great! I love you, Paula, more than you could possibly ever know. I'll support you, no matter what. I love Paula because she's such a great person. She is one of the only female celebrities I've come to like because most of the time, the famous women are not nice at all. But Paula has totally proved me wrong and showed me that there are indeed good people in this world. She's involved with so many charities, she's so maternal and she's fourty-six years old and still drop-dead gorgeous. Her dancing truly inspires me and she is such a strong person, no matter what people say. She's an amazing role-model and I'm glad I learned a lot about her. =) Oh, and I discovered her because my mom has been a fan; but I really started to like her after I got into ! I became a huge fan of paula, when i was in the car listening to an oldies station and heard straight up. I knew the voice sounded familiar and i asked my mom about it. I then later went on utube and looked at paula's older videos. She is such a beyond amazing dancer, actress, producer, judge, singer. etc. etc. the list goes on and on. Paula is just paula. She's not trying to be somebody she's not. She is a kind, caring, beautiful person inside and out, it's not just a celebrity image, it's who she is. and i respect that. some people criticize her for being nice all the time, but who cares? the reason i noticed paula at first was because she had this unique style of dance. she was creative, outgoing and f unny. i found out later that she had various medical issues and danced through them. You might know that Paula has rheumatoid arthritis. I am 15. I have been dancing since I w as 3. I have won various choreography awards and love dance. when i was 14 i was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, and i couldn't move to get out of bed i couldn't move my hands and i obviosly couldn't dance. I watched a lot of youtube and was able to choreograph from a chair, telling dancers where to put there hands and feet. I have since been on a medicin! e that has brought me almost to full recovery. the point of my story was to let you know that every time i felt that i didn't want to make it another day i thought of a very strong women who did it too, and it got me through.

I liked/loved/adored Paula because of her down-to-earth relatability. She's cute, spunky, and cool in a weird, crazy way. Not that it's a bad thing though. In the Philippines, nobody's just like her and I don't get to see her interviews/shows. I liked her in season 4 of AI when they showed Simon wanting to kiss her. She's very sexy, very attractive, and she seems like a great person.

I've been a fan of Paula's since Straight Up came out. I was just amazed by her talent and not only that, she is just beautiful. I really became more of a fan the more I got into watching AI. You really got to see her personality and what she's about. I don't think there are enough words to say how much I adore her. She has a great heart and is such a caring person. Even with all the obstacles that she has overcome and goes through, you hardly ever see her without a smile on her face. or being negative. She has amazing strength and won't let anything get stop her from achieving what she wants. I can't think of a better role model for people to have. She inspires so many people as well, including myself. I will always be a fan of Paula's, you just don't get any better than her.

I became a fan through American Idol. It was back in the days of grade 6 (I'm in grade 11 now) when I had absolutely no cable in my room. BUT, I had CTV, because I'm Canadian, that's another channel it's on. We also have FOX, but like I said, I had no cable! Anyway, I began to become fascinated in this "Paula Abdul" character. I started researching online and before you knew it, I was a HUGE fan. Joined many message boards, and forums. Like I mean TONS, half of them now, only few people go on. But I still roam them once and a while I will post.
